Burden & Bloom
This collection of work was born from a season of depression, burnout, and grief, though I didn’t fully realize it at the time of creation. The pieces came into existence subconsciously, reflecting emotions and experiences I couldn’t yet articulate. I found myself attempting to pour from a cup that was empty and seemingly out of reach. Despite possessing the drive and ambition to create, I still felt a deep, underlying melancholy in every brushstroke, every form, every line. These works are a quiet reflection of the inner turmoil I couldn’t yet understand but was driven to express, capturing a fragile state of being where intention and emptiness coexist.
